About Us
Bay Area Physical Therapy is a therapist owned, full service out patient clinic serving Lafayette, Orinda, Moraga and the East Bay since 1986. Our professional staff is trained in all types of musculoskeletal conditions and fitness needs. We develop treatment plans for teens though our senior citizens. There is not an age group that we exclude, nor is there a clientele that has not found a “home” here at BAPT.
We have worked with many professional, amateur and weekend warrior/athletes as well as baby boomers needing their mid life tune ups. Whether you are a sedentary office worker with an over use syndrome or a recreational hiker with radicular back and leg pain we can develop a treatment plan for you. You’ll be back on the court, road, deck or slopes faster than you would have expected.
We try to get the injured worker back on the job fast and often in better condition than they were pre-injury. We like to look at the whole patient and retrain and offer disciplined strengthening for the whole body not just the weakest link.
For the teens in this competitive Lamorinda area, we have a therapy/training plan that is adaptable for each individual sport/and or injury. When it comes to our younger children going though the natural and accident-prone stages of physical development, we have a complete and through plan for them as well.
We pride ourselves in giving our seniors the most conscientious and diligent care in order to improve the quality of life, whether recovering from a total joint replacement or an auto accident our goal is bringing the patient back to the highest level of function possible.
