Clinical Services Manager
Tim received his Master’s degree from the University of California: San Francisco in conjunction with San Francisco State University. He is a certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) with prior experience working with the UCLA football, track and baseball programs. He has extensive training in manual therapy and emphasizes biomechanical assessment, manual therapy and functional exercise in his treatment programs. He is also trained in Gyrotonic, a type of movement-based exercise program. Tim enjoys working with a diverse population needing treatment for orthopedic issues, sports injuries as well as those seeking conditioning and movement analysis.
Tim is married to wife Tamara, who is also a physical therapist. In his spare time, he enjoys golf, reading, walking his dog and exploring the Bay Area.
Kristal Evans, PTA, BS
Kristal joins the staff of Bay Area Physical Therapy with more than thirteen years of combined experience in physical therapy and rehab-specific Pilates training. She is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and certified Pilates (rehabilitation/studio-based) instructor. With her Polestar Pilates training and her rehabilitation background, she brings a wealth of anatomy/physiology knowledge to her instruction. She finds that Pilate has given her a deeper understanding of the use of movement as a tool for not only healing injuries but helping people to move with ease, comfort and expression. Before joining BAPT, Kristal worked at Springhill Physical Therapy/Stillpoint–Pilates Studio, where she combined Pilates and traditional Physical Therapy for orthopedic, neurologic rehab and general fitness. Widely experienced in acute, sub-acute, orthopedic, and sports medicine Kristal has successfully treated patients ranging from senior citizens and weekend warriors to dancers and athletes.
Angela is dedicated to helping her patients reach their goals in a fun and active environment. She has extensive experience in outpatient orthopedics, acute care, sports injuries, post-operative rehab, and running, endurance and injury rehab in athletes. Angela has a passion for learning that is readily apparent in her extensive post collegiate continuing education. Angela enjoys working with a variety of conditions and age groups. She has continued to further her physical therapy skillset through coursework and certifications including ASTYM certification, SFMS training, Gary Gray training, RRCA certified running coach certification, and obtaining her Certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy (COMT). She loves to use her vast skillset to deliver effective and targeted care to each individual.
